The Wichita Fire Department Awards Committee is in the process of compiling a new hardbound book commemorating our 130th Anniversary. The book will document our rich history and the men and women who serve every day. This is only the fourth history book compiled since 1978 and will have an emphasis on the department’s recent years of 2011 to 2016. Purchasing a copy of this history book is not only a way for you to remember those years of your career, but it is a way for you to pass your legacy down to your children and grandchildren. Purchasing extra books for other members of your family will make wonderful gifts, as well.
Only a limited number of books will be printed, therefore it is necessary to collect all orders now. Orders placed before the deadline will be guaranteed a book at the price of $59.95, for the standard lexotone cover, or $85.00 for the genuine bonded leather cover.
You may choose to have your copy personalized with your name stamped on the cover for a nominal charge.
The hardbound book is 9” x 12” and will contain approximately 152 all-color pages. A written history, personnel photos and historic/current photos will be included.
Additionally, for the first time ever, a digital download edition of this book which is compatible with PCs, Macs, tablets, and or smart phones, will be offered at $9.95 to those who purchase a hardbound copy of the book.
