Robert J. Berens fought with U.S. Ground Forces during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He has a Master’s Degree in Journalism and worked with National News Media in the Pentagon during the Cold War. He lectured on Battlefield Atrocities at the Uniform Services Medical University, Bethesda, Maryland. He has published essays in professional and academic journals for four decades. He has taught Communications at  colleges in Virginia and Florida.
