About the Author:
Robert J. Berens fought with US ground forces during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He has a Master’s Degree in Journalism and worked with Cold War Media six years in the Pentagon. Berens lectured on Battlefield Atrocities at Uniform Services Medical University, Bethesda, MD. He has published articles in professional and academic journals for some four decades and has taught Written Communications at colleges in Virginia and Florida. Berens has published three Veterans’ memoirs, including Limbo on the Yalu and Beyond!-acclaimed “a somber and inspirational account” of a POW’s ordeal.
