Mr. Burke is a contributing editor for Firehouse Magazine with a bi-monthly column titled Hazmat Studies, and a contributor for Firehouse.com website with two columns titled “Street Chemistry” and “Hazmat Team Spotlight”. He has been an adjunct instructor at the National Fire Academy for 20 years and has over 28 years experience in emergency services as a career and volunteer firefighter and is currently the Fire Marshal for the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus.
