Description
The last of the official Indiana Bicentennial projects has been completed and M.T. Publishing is excited to bring to you this new, all-color book that commemorates this unique project celebrating the Bicentennial of our state. Indiana’s Bison-tennial Project: A Celebration of Hoosier History, Artistry and Creativity is a coffee-table style book that highlights the last of the state’s birthday celebrations. A must-have for your local library, or business, or as a personal memento of our state’s birthday.
The Bison-tennial Legacy Project helped celebrate Indiana’s 200th birthday by decorating and displaying 5-foot-tall fiberglass bison (a symbol of Indiana) with an end goal of at least one – if not a herd – of bison on display in each of Indiana’s 92 counties. In this new book you can explore the pages to see how different counties creatively decorated their bison to represent city, town, county and state history and heritage.
This large 9” x 12” coffee-table edition, hardbound book contains 144 full-color pages.
