The Kentucky Children’s Home (KHC) has been an interesting project with sad but also uplifting stories of the children who were sent there. These stories five an example of life during the years of 1895 to 1936. This book is only about the KCH children, though there were many other facilities for children and families across the state. It also includes more than 12,000 names of children on the KCH Master List dated September 13, 1985.

This book consists of five sections. Section one is a history of the KCH, copies of documents, an example of a home investigations, letters, copies of local newspaper articles and letterheads found in the files. Section two includes stories of the children who were removed from Trig County, Kentucky. Section three contains the stories oft eh children who stayed in Trigg County, a list of Trig County families and their foster children. Section four is a copy of the Child Registrar page of children who where only in the system a short period of time. And Section Five that is the Kentucky Children’s home Master Index.
