Description
Bob Gentil was born in Posey County, Indiana. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and earned a B.S. degree from Oakland City University, a M.A degree from the University of Evansville, and an Ed. S. degree from Indiana University. He retired after 34 years as a teacher, coach, and school administrator. After his retirement, Bob was elected and served 20 years on the Posey County Council, the county’s fiscal body.
Today, Bob lives in the Northern part of Posey County. His hobbies include family genealogy, county history, and rebuilding older vehicles while maintaining his two street rods, a 1948 Chevy pickup, and a 1948 Ford Coupe.
