Lest We Forget honors and preserves the memories of our Veterans; those who have marched many a mile in mud-caked boots and fought in tireless sacrifice for our rights, as well as veterans who have ensured that our country stay strong and confident. It includes accounts and reflections of the service men and women who have been a part of our nation’s history and continue to protect our country and our way of life. We must not forget our ancestors who bravely immigrated to a young country and pledged their lives to it in battle. In war after war that followed, many continued to give their lives to God and country.

While this book honors the Veterans of the community of Germantown, it will also instill pride in every American from every community. Lest We Forget will begin conversations among young and old, instill patriotism, and inspire others to proudly serve our nation.
