Historic Sketches of Logan County, Ohio will be a pictorial history of Logan County, Ohio to help preserve historical records for the enjoyment and education of future generations. This 8.5 x 11-inch coffee-table size edition will be beautifully bound in a hard cover with a color dust jacket specially designed for this one-of-a-kind publication and will contain many photographs and historical highlights of our county — past and present. Historic Sketches of Logan County, Ohio will be available in mid-2026 as we celebrate the Nation’s 250th anniversary.
You can choose to have your book shipped directly to you for $9.50 ($5.00 for each additional book) or local pick-up will be available to save on shipping at the Logan County History Center, 521 E. Columbus Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
BOOK PATRONS Wanted To Help Support This Project
Historic Sketches of Logan County, Ohio, will contain a PATRON section of Logan County businesses, churches, schools, and organizations as recorded in 2025 for future generations to read.
All Logan County businesses, churches, schools, clubs, and organizations are invited to submit their written histories for prominent display in the professionally designed history book. Imagine the prestige that will be rendered to your business, church, school, or organization by including it in this PERMANENT RECORD of Logan County, Ohio. You should include your history and interesting stories written in the third person (he, she, they). Include any information you feel pertinent: the date your business, church, school or organization was started, location(s), who was the founder, growth, etc. and a historic and current photo of your business, church, school or organization (if possible). If you do not have photos or information, please feel free to contact the History Center Archives.
For a full page, you will want to submit approximately 800 words with two photos. For a half page history, please submit approximately 300 words with one photo. Patron pages are being sold for $240.00 for a full black and white page, and $195.00 for a half black and white page. Color pages are being sold for $500.00 for a full color page, and $400.00 for a half color page. A full black and white or full color page purchase includes a complimentary copy of the book.
