Description
In 2008 the Owensboro Museum of Science and History founded Voices of Elmwood, an annual program designed to honor our region’s heritage and the people buried at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery. Voices of Elmwood continues to grow thanks to the support of Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery, our collaborating partners from the Daviess County Library’s Kentucky Room, the sponsors, directors, actors, volunteers, and most importantly, our patrons!
And now, as we open our Eighteenth Season we are excited to announce we are teaming up with M.T. Publishing Company, Inc. to offer our premier book! Voices of Elmwood: The Early Years will bring “the rest of the stories” from our first five years to life! This coffee-table volume will contain approximately 148 pages and cover the first fifty people portrayed from 2008 through 2012. It will expand the “five-minute glimpses” offered during our live presentations into a richer story, including photographs, illustrations and many unforgettable side stories!
